February - March: Steve Sack: A Retrospective

February 1 - March 15

Artist Reception: Friday, February 19 - 7 pm to 9:30 pm

Since 1981, Steve Sack’s whimsical, witty and sometimes outlandish cartoons have graced the editorial and Doodles pages of Minneapolis’ own Star Tribune. Steve Sack: A Retrospective showcases the artists seldom seen 2-D and 3-D works of art that include a canvas of singing Vikings, many footed aliens, never-ending cats, a larger than life balloon hat on a curmudgeonly old man and so much more! Don’t miss your chance to see this multi-media packed show – put down the paper and head into the gallery to check out the incredible work from Steve Sack.

Steve Sack: A Retrospective runs February 1 – March 15, 2016. An artist reception will be held at MGAC on February 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission to both the show and reception are free and open to the public. Food provided Z’s Smokin’ Bones and live music from Park Evans.
