Meet the Volunteers at Maple Grove Arts Center
Last month you “met” Teri. This month our feature is Kitty Gillmor.
Kitty Gillmor, Fundraising Director
Kitty Gillmor currently serves as our Fundraising Chair & Art Fair Director. She holds her undergraduate degree in Art History from the U of M and her masters from Saint Mary's University in Arts and Cultural Nonprofit Management. She is a fervent supporter of the arts, volunteering for MGAC in the past as a gallery director and with other local nonprofit art focused groups like Art Buddies. She is also the co founder of CheekyKitty, which focuses on modernizing kitschy events to benefit local groups and organizations, such as Planned Parenthood. In her free time she enjoys checking out local breweries, cooking new recipes, is a pop culture junky and spending time with her husband, Rob and dog, Trixie Joel. They currently reside in Minneapolis and could not love their community more but as a local to Maple Grove, Kitty is once again excited to part of the local fabric!
Want to Get More Involved?
We are always looking for more volunteers and have a page here that details specific opportunities we have available.
Maple Grove Arts Center is a 501c3 organization and we rely on donations to keep going. We are staffed entirely by volunteers.
We have relaxed our mask mandate in line with the CDC. It is now up to you to judge your own level of risk acceptance. We are watching the CDC and the levels of transmission and will act if needed.
