The Countdown Has Begun!
We are very happy to announce that we are now in a position to reopen the Maple Grove Arts Center to the general public in a slow and methodical way. Our intended reopening date is the first week of May, 2021. We have put in place a Preparedness Plan, which will be updated as the COVID requirements evolve. We will have guidelines posted at the entrance and you will need to sign a Track ‘ n’ Trace smart form either from home or when you arrive at the space. There will be a paper alternative available for those that need that option.

Activities
Summer Art Camps
We have some summer art camps just listed, with hopefully more to be added in the coming days. These will fill fast, as we are limited to only six students per session. All are listed with a waiver, which you will need to accept to initiate payment and acceptance. If a class proves popular we will do our best to re-list it again so that as many children as possible can attend.
Adult Art Classes
We will also be starting adult class offerings as soon as we can get those scheduled. Please watch out for newsletters and on our Facebook page for details. Again these will be limited to six students per class.
Gallery Shows
We are planning our first gallery show for June, more details to follow as this firms up! Again, the opening event will be more structured for COVID restrictions.
Arbor Lakes Art Fair
The planning on this year’s event is on-going. We have a variety of local artists wanting to share art and make the summer of 2021 memorable! We still need more artists and the application is open until May 1st, 2021. We need volunteers to help during the event and you can see links for that at the end of this newsletter.
Business of Art Program
Our Business of Art program just transitioned into it’s 2nd 2021 quarter locations and the art is amazing! If you have not visited any of the locations, you should try and to take a look at the wonderful offerings we have from our local talented artists! If you can’t do that right now, you can still see all of the available work online and even purchase directly. In fact, that is the easiest way to secure a piece!
Help We Need From You!
All this is only possible because of the help and financial support that we get from the general public. We need your support even more than ever! The road back from COVID is proving long and arduous.
Volunteers
We need people to help get all this off the ground and help progress our mission. These are the current positions we have open

Donations
As ever, we need money! We’ve invested heavily in safety measures and combined with being closed for 15 months, we need financial assistance. We are a fully recognized 501(3)c, so your donation is deductible to the full extent of the law.
So, thank you for taking the time to read this and become excited again for the arts in Maple Grove.
Keep well and we hope to see you all soon!
